PATRONS

BECOME A PATRON

We want to mark the centennial of women achieving the right to vote by staging an all-female portrait takeover in Parliament, and we need your help to make it happen.

209 Women is a national artist-led project founded by photographer Hilary Wood that aims to champion the visibility of women, particularly in male-dominated environments.

We invite you to become a 'Champion of Women' PATRON of 209 Women and pledge your support.

Your support will ensure that each female photographer receives support to produce their portrait.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

Become one of only 209 Patrons for a donation of £350.

As a valued 'Champion of Women' Patron, you will receive:

1. Your name on the wall at the exhibition in parliament, on the patrons' board from 14th December 2018 to February 2019.

2. An invitation to parliament to meet the curator and some artists, where you will also take part in a unique group photo 'Champions of Women', shot by one of the project's photographers. Every patron will receive an exhibition quality print of this to hang in their office or home. (Jan 2019, tbc)

3. Your name will be displayed on the patrons' board at the '209 Women' exhibition at the Open Eye Gallery, Liverpool. The exhibition will coincide with a city-wide celebration of women. '209 Women' will be the main exhibition for visitors to the city and promoted alongside other events by Liverpool City Council. (Feb to April 2019)

We welcome people of all genders to become Patrons.
